Alan Cleland File

The Alan Cleland File is a high-performance shortboard developed with ISA World Champion Alan Cleland Jr., designed for surfers who demand precision and control in critical sections. Inspired by Alan’s feedback on the IF15, this model retains its speed and forgiveness while refining the shape for sharper, more technical surfing.

Unlike the flatter-deck IF15, the Alan Cleland File features a domed deck, concentrating foam along the stringer and reducing rail volume. This creates smoother rail-to-rail transitions, improved bite, and increased control in steep, powerful parts of the wave.

With a narrower outline, thinner rails, and the IF15’s single concave and medium rocker, the board delivers a responsive, nimble feel that thrives in the pocket while maintaining speed and versatility across a range of conditions.
